Your wedding dress is one of the most important garments you’ll ever wear—and getting the fit right can completely transform how you look and feel in it. Established in 2006, Sew Eazy provides expert wedding dress alterations from our private fitting area in Bonnybridge, welcoming brides from Falkirk and across Central Scotland. Every gown is carefully assessed and altered to complement your shape while preserving its original design, structure and detailing. Our bridal alterations include: Bodice, neckline and shoulder adjustments Hem shortening, including lace and detailed hems Sleeve and strap alterations Bust cups and additional support Zip-to-corset conversions Reshaping and restyling Train alterations and bustles Detailed hand finishing Optional steaming and wrapping before collection Most wedding dresses require a minimum of three fittings. We recommend booking your first fitting at least 12 weeks before your wedding, followed by a final check fitting around one week before the big day. Please bring your wedding shoes, chosen underwear or shapewear, and any hoop or underskirt to every fitting. These all affect the fit, shape and finished length of your dress. Every gown is different, so prices depend on its construction, fabric, detailing and the alterations required. Our pay-as-you-go approach allows you to pay for each stage as the work is completed. Your dress will be handled with care, skill and complete attention to detail from your first fitting through to final collection.
