Whether it’s a wedding guest outfit, evening dress, party dress, race-day outfit or something special for a big event, the right alterations can make all the difference. At Sew Eazy, we alter special occasion dresses and outfits to improve the fit, comfort and overall finish. Alterations can include hems, straps and shoulders, sleeves, bodice adjustments, taking in or letting out where possible, and reshaping depending on the style and construction of the garment. We recommend booking special occasion alterations around 8 weeks before your event. Please bring the shoes and underwear you plan to wear with your outfit, particularly if your garment needs shortened or adjusted through the bodice. At your fitting we'll look at how the garment sits, discuss what can realistically be altered and agree the work with you before we begin. You’ve found the outfit, we’ll help you get the fit right.
