Your prom dress should fit beautifully, feel comfortable and let you enjoy the night without worrying about your dress. At Sew Eazy, we alter prom dresses to achieve the best possible fit. Alterations can include shortening hems, adjusting straps and shoulders, bodice alterations, taking in or letting out where possible, and reshaping depending on the style and construction of your dress. We recommend booking your prom alterations around 8 weeks before your prom. Please bring the shoes and underwear you plan to wear so we can accurately check the fit and finished length. Prom dresses often have multiple layers, boning, beading or detailed finishes, so we'll assess the dress at your fitting and talk you through what can be done before any work begins.
